About Me

DSC01334cI am an educational administrator, specifically Deputy Principal Junior School in a Catholic P-12 college in country Queensland.

I hold a M.Ed (Computers in education) through Charles Sturt University which was completed about 9 years ago, so, apart from being an official post graduate qualification, is worth nothing in its specific field.

This blog is attempt to redress that disconnectedness. Here I hope to do three things:

1. develop my own personal learning network, within my personal learning environment (see, I’m getting the hang of this new terminlogy already).

2. provide information, links and advice to other teachers wanting to develop their knowledge, use and understanding of web 2.0 technologies.

3. create a resource base of ASD resources, specific to my, and my school’s, needs. This is another area which I have only recently come to. I am not a parent of an ASD child, and not so much interested in activism, but in understanding the condition better, so that the services we provide are the best they can be.
